If you want to contribute to Monero, which is the codebase Townforge builds one, see https://github.com/monero-project/monero/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md

Changes to the Monero part of Townforge should be made to Monero itself.

If you want to contribute to Townforge itself, you can post patches to https://git.townforge.net

Please try to keep patches minimal (ie, no reindenting, gratuitous renaming or other such changes). Please try to keep each patch self contained, and thus a patch per change if you are changing multiple things.

You are encouraged to ask moneromooo on Freenode IRC whether the patch has a chance of being merged before spending time on any change.
